June 19th
1269 - King Louis IX of France orders all Jews without the proper yellow badge to be punished by ten livres of silver. Antisemitism is not a thing of the 20th century Germany, but a more ancient concept, suffering from ups and downs and reapering in greater strength in the last years of the 19th century until the fall of the Third Reich. King Louis IX was later canonized and is known as Saint Louis.
